Sculpture, Sphinx, 19 cm. - 10.5 cm - Bronze

A finely cast and parcel-gilt bronze figure of a recumbent sphinx, measuring circa 19cm in length and weighing 1268g. French work, second half of the 19th century.

Condition: Overall very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age.
