Description from the seller

Capodimonte hand-painted porcelain lid vase, Italy, 20th century

Elegant and decorative lid vase made from fine Italian Capodimonte porcelain. This hand-painted specimen is rendered in a classic neo-Baroque style and features a beautiful relief with mythological figures in an idyllic landscape. The decoration is further enriched by three-dimensional cherub heads as handles and a removable lid with a figural crown.
The vase rests on a profiled foot and is finished in soft pastel tones with gilded accents.

At the bottom marked “Capodimonte Italy Hand Painted” and numbered.

A particularly decorative object that beautifully reflects the refined Italian porcelain tradition and lends itself well as a focal point in a classical interior or as a collector’s item.

Condition: good overall condition with normal signs of use and age. Damage to the figure on the lid. For a correct assessment, please refer to the photos.
Trademark: Capodimonte, Italy, hand-painted.
Material: porcelain.
Period: presumably mid-20th century.
