Adhering to Tibetan iconometric canons, the figure sits in the classic *lalitasana* pose with the right foot resting upon a lotus blossom rising from the water; the hands form symbolic mudras and are flanked by lotus stems rising to shoulder height. She wears a five-leaf jeweled crown, and her body is adorned with finely chased necklaces and armlets. The statue rests upon a double-lotus pedestal featuring both upright and inverted petals, embellished with beaded borders and scrolling vine motifs.
