Description from the seller
The work for sale is an oil on canvas measuring 100 x 69.5 cm, excluding the outer perimeter moulding.
It was exhibited at the 10th National Exhibition Premio del Fiorino and cited in the catalog on page 15 (label on the back).
It was published in the catalog "Homage to Enrico Bordoni" (see attached photographs), whose booklet will be delivered together with the work.
It took part from December 15, 1929 to January 31, 1930 in the First Regional Show of Ligurian Art, of the Regional Syndicate of Fascist Fine Arts of Liguria.
From June 15 to July 15, 1932, it participated in the X, the Third Art Show of Liguria, of the Regional Syndicate of Fascist Fine Arts of Liguria, at Palazzo Rosso in Genoa.
In 1934, 1936, 1940, 1942, 1948, 1950, 1958 it participated in the International Art Exhibition of the City of Venice.
In 1931, 1935, 1939, 1943, 1948, 1960, 1965, 1973 it participated in the Quadriennale of Rome.
It was among the first artists to join the MAC movement (Movimento Arte Concreta).
