One object, a gold-plated piece of French origin dating from 2000–2010, 13.3 cm long and 1 cm in diameter, serial no. 93493, in good used condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Cuerpo y Capuchón (Baño de Oro): The grooved finish (godron-type) maintains a good overall level of shine and shows no deep dents, deformations, or cracks. However, on smooth surfaces (such as the clip back and the cap’s smooth edges) there are multiple micro-scratches typical of regular use.
Anillos Trinity y Corona Superior: The three interwoven rings (the model’s signature) are intact in their form, but show wear from friction. The most notable in this area is the heavy buildup of dirt and dark patina in the crevices, especially visible at the base of the rings and at the junction with the flat upper plug.
Grabados y Contrastes: The inscriptions on the flat crown of the cap are a strong point. The punches, the Cartier "C" logo, "MADE IN FRANCE", "PLAQUE OR G" and "PAT" are deeply engraved, crisp, and perfectly legible, although dirt has also become embedded within the grooves of the letters themselves.
Sección de Agarre y Punta: The fluted mouthpiece through which the replacement tip emerges is in good aesthetic condition, with no evident chipping in the gold plating, but sharing the same superficial wear as the rest of the body.
En resumen: It is a structurally sound and robust piece that reflects normal (and honest) wear of a vintage item regularly used. It does not require mechanical repairs at first glance, but aesthetically it begs for a thorough and careful cleaning to remove dirt embedded in the grooves and around the rings.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
