Jan Verhoeven - Maritieme Week 1945 - 1940s

Info: The original paper poster was produced on behalf of the committee "Onze Marine" in 1945 for the occasion of Maritime Week from 8 to 16 September 1945 in Amsterdam. The poster was designed by Jan Verhoeven (1917-1997). Printed at the offset printing house De Jong in Hilversum. The poster measures approximately 52 cm in length and 38 cm in width.
The poster is in fair to good condition with a few imperfections, namely:
- the paper has discolored, but the print colors are still bright;
- a tear in the lower left corner;
- minimal tears along the top edge;
- the edge at the lower left shows some slight creasing
- the poster has two fold lines, mid-length and mid-width.
Note: the objects at the edges are magnets that were used to photograph the poster.
The poster will be rolled and shipped in a tube.
