Magnificent 32-piece lead chess set, handmade and hand-painted, faithfully reflecting the attire and uniforms of the early 19th century, as well as the most illustrious characters: Napoleon Bonaparte, Joseph Bonaparte, Josephine, infantry, cavalry, Mamelukes, French soldiers, etc. Each piece is a small work of art. The knights, bishops, and pawns are all distinct from one another.

The pieces measure from 7.5 cm for the king to 6.5 cm for the pawns. The weight of the 32 pieces is 2.4 kg, with pawns weighing 50 g each and rooks 110 g each.

The board, made with fine classic marquetry, is large, measuring 54 cm × 54 cm.

Please note that this is a collector’s chess set that is very difficult to obtain.
The chess set is in PERFECT CONDITION, new, in its original packaging.
