Roya Copenhagen – Flora Danica model (created in 1790) – Coffee cup, height 5.5 cm, and saucer with a lancet-shaped rim in white and gold porcelain – Contemporary Denmark with a molded, beaded rim and a painted decoration of polychromed flowers, marked with the Latin name on the back: Genista pilosa L. Mint condition. Originally commissioned by the heir to the Danish throne in the name of his father, King Christian VII, with the intention of presenting it to Empress Catherine II.
