2006 Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon - California - 3 Bottles (0.75L)

The Screaming Eagle winery was founded in 1986 by Jean Phillip and is located in Oakville, in the Napa Valley. There it has managed to produce from those 23 hectares one of the best wines in California. In 2006, Screaming Eagle was acquired by American billionaire Stan Kroenke, who also owns the Californian wineries Jonata and The Hilt and owns part of the legendary Burgundian estate Bonneau du Martray.

Screaming Eagle is composed of a mosaic of plots with different sun exposures and soils formed by gravel and clay marl. The grape varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is produced in very limited quantities and has been recognized by the world’s top international wine critics for its extreme delicacy since the release of its first vintage in 1992.

It is a wine with a subtle texture and elegant aromas, with an intense and profound flavor and a great aging potential.
