Salon Jacob & Josef Kohn – Vienna – sofa and 2 cane-backed armchairs – circa 1900.

A very fine antique set comprising a sofa and two chairs with bentwood framing and caning.

Viennese Secession style model attributed to Jacob & Josef Kohn, a famous Austro-Hungarian maker of bentwood furniture in the early 20th century. Set stamped under the seat.

Solid construction, cane seating in good overall condition, beautiful original patina. Backrests with openwork fan motifs typical of Viennese productions of this period.
