Pair of Hollywood Regency wall sconces in Golden Brass and Fabric – Italy, 1970s/1980s
Elegance, stage presence, and build quality come together in this splendid pair of Italian sconces from the Seventies/ Eighties, made in golden brass with lampshades upholstered in ivory-colored fabric.
The design recalls the Hollywood Regency taste and the discreet luxury of international interior design of the era: architectural lines, substantial proportions, and a refined alternation between glossy surfaces, satinized details, and soft textile textures. The polished golden brass, expertly worked, creates an extremely elegant play of reflections that enhances the lighting and adds warmth to the surroundings.
Particularly interesting is the swiveling structure that allows adjustment of the light heads, enabling the light to be tailored to different furnishing needs. The semi-cylindrical lampshades are adorned with a perforated metal frame that gives the whole composition additional character and refinement.
