Very beautiful decorative plate from the Longwy manufactory, Palissy model, made in cloisonné enamel according to a design created by Maurice Paul Chevalier, designer at Longwy in the mid-20th century. 

This elegant piece features a superb deep black background enhanced by polychrome enamels of stylized flowers and a rich ornamental frieze in vivid colors (blue, green, red, gold...). 

The cloisonné outlines and the quality of the enamels offer remarkable relief and brilliance, characteristic of Longwy productions around 1950.

Très beau plat décoratif de la manufacture de Longwy, modèle Palissy, réalisé en émaux cloisonnés selon un décor créé par Maurice Paul Chevalier designer au milieu du XX eme siècle à Longwy. 

Cette élégante pièce présente un superbe fond noir profond rehaussé d'émaux polychrome de fleurs stylisées et d'une riche frise ornementale aux couleurs vives (bleu, vert, rouge, or...). 

Les contours cloisonnés et la qualité des émaux offrent un relief et une brillance remarquables caractéristiques des productions de Longwy vers 1950.
