Description from the seller
Early 20th Century Wooden Walking Stick with Carved Decorative Collar
An elegant early 20th century wooden walking stick featuring a smoothly shaped crook handle and a finely turned decorative collar with carved geometric ornamentation.
The cane is crafted from a light-coloured hardwood, likely beech or fruitwood, with a warm natural patina acquired over decades of use. The carved wooden collar provides an attractive decorative accent while maintaining a restrained, classic appearance. The original metal ferrule remains in place.
The walking stick displays honest age-related wear, including surface marks, small dents and wear to the ferrule, all consistent with age and use. It presents well and remains a fine example of a traditional European gentleman's walking stick from the early 20th century.
Length: 89 cm.
Good antique condition with age-related wear, marks and scratches throughout. Decorative collar intact. Original metal ferrule worn but present. Structurally sound. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
