In this auction we present one of the most modern and dynamic models from the Hamburg-based house, a perfect meeting between traditional elegance and avant-garde design, strongly inspired by space exploration: the Montblanc StarWalker Red Gold Roller Pen / Fineliner.

The body of the pen and the cap are crafted in the classic black precious resin, skillfully contrasted with the bright rose gold finishes (Red Gold) on the clip and structural rings. An aesthetic and tactile peculiarity that stands out in this particular specimen is the grip section, made of metal with a rose gold finish, enriched by a sophisticated micro-grid knurling (diamond-cut or knurled). This detail not only guarantees an exceptionally firm and comfortable grip, but gives the instrument a bold hi-tech and contemporary character. To crown the iconic silhouette, the famous transparent dome atop the cap houses inside the white floating star, the true signature of the StarWalker line.

The specimen is configured for liquid ink writing (Rollerball or Fineliner) and features a cap with a secure screw closure, which can also be screwed onto the end cap during use for optimal balance. As documented by the photos with the pen disassembled, the internal refill can be replaced by unscrewing the writing unit from the barrel. The brand’s inscription is visible on the clip ring.

The item's condition is to be considered excellent overall. The precious resin retains a splendid mirror-like finish and is structurally flawless, completely free of cracks, chips, or defects. Only the very light and physiological micro-scratches (hairlines) typical of normal handling are present. The rose gold plating, including the intricate workmanship of the grip, remains intact, bright and free of oxidation. The upper transparent dome is crystal clear and the floating star is intact.
