Large sculptural amber-glass vase, with a red-brown flame decor in the Daum, Nancy spirit.
Splendid satin-glass amber-effect vase, with a fusiform and sinuous body evoking an elongated, almost floral organic form.
The mass of glass, tinted in honey-amber tones, is traversed by red-brown drips and dark veins reminiscent of flame effects, achieved by a layering of colors in the paste.
The foot, wide and undulating, is structured by a composition of stylized leaves or petals in light relief, textured with fine striations, which encircle the base of the neck and create a very graphic play of volumes.
The whole rests on a ringed base with rolled edges, lending stability and elegance to this piece with Art Nouveau character.
Very good overall condition, with no chips or visible cracks.
Nice height (43 cm) that allows this vase to stand out as a centerpiece for a collection or decoration.
