Casterman - Casterman S.A. Tournai - Et Chat Continue! - 1980s

Born in 1954 in Brussels, Philippe Geluck quickly indulged his two passions for theater and illustration. He published his first humorous drawing at the age of 16. From 1975, he performed in numerous plays, from café-theater to the National Theater of Belgium, and from 1978, he hosted various shows on RTBF. It was in 1983 that he created the iconic character Le Chat in the daily newspaper Le Soir. Later published in Sud-Ouest, Ouest-France, and (À Suivre), the absurd, offbeat, and metaphysical reflections of this funny character quickly solidified the author's reputation with the French public.

This is a very decorative Le Chat poster from the 1980s.
