Original lithograph by Joan Miró belonging to the prestigious publication El Tapís de Tarragona, published by Sala Gaspar (Barcelona) in 1972. The work reproduces the unmistakable plastic language of the Catalan artist, characterized by the combination of intense primary colors, wide black strokes, and expressive graphic signs with great expressive force.

This composition is part of the famous artist’s book dedicated to Tapís de Tarragona, a project developed by Joan Miró in collaboration with master upholsterer Josep Royo. The publication constitutes an important testimony to Miró’s interest in experimentation between different artistic disciplines during the 1970s.
