Description from the seller
Waves of Change III
In every wave and every form of this sculpture hides a unique narrative that speaks of growth and transformation. Inspired by earthy, open landscapes—with gentle hills and striking elevations—the sculpture mirrors the dynamic journey we go through in life. It partly conveys a floral impression.
The artful waves recall the gentle movements of nature, which is constantly in flux and adapts. Each curve and edge tells of the challenges and triumphs that shape us. In the uneven surfaces are the traces of life visible—they symbolize the striving for change and the acceptance of imperfection.
When you view the sculpture, it becomes clear that each form carries its own story. The soft, curved lines could represent the gentle wind sweeping over the hills, while the sharper edges symbolize the unexpected turns that often surprise us. This duality of calm and unrest is found in nature and repeats itself in our own lives.
Just as the landscapes around us change with the seasons, so too does this sculpture reflect the constant change that is part of our existence. It invites us to pause and reflect on our own journey—about the waves that have shaped us and the stories we will still write.
Each wave in this artwork stands for a moment of growth, a decision that has been made, or a lesson that has been learned. Let us be inspired by these forms to recognize the beauty in change and to find the strength to continue writing our own narrative.
The artwork is colored in dark brown, accented, glazed, and fired twice in a special process, at 900 and 1220 degrees, which not only increases durability but also enhances the different textures and colors. It is both waterproof and weatherproof, so it can be admired in any environment.
This sculpture invites reflection on the dynamics of nature and the quiet power it carries within its essence. It is more than just a decorative element—it's an expression of life, a reminder that in every moment there is both strength and fragility.
The work is a UNIKAT (unique piece), signed and numbered. With certificate 4/26.
