A magnificent Royal Albert Old Country Roses tea trio set comprising 18 pieces (6 complete trios), crafted in fine English bone china and Made in England. Introduced in 1962, Old Country Roses is Royal Albert’s most iconic and internationally celebrated pattern, renowned for its timeless beauty and exceptional craftsmanship. It remains one of the world’s most collected fine bone china designs.
Decorated with the instantly recognisable Old Country Roses pattern, each piece features lavish sprays of deep crimson, pink and golden-yellow roses set against brilliant white bone china, enhanced by richly hand-applied 22-carat gold gilding and elegant scalloped rims. The combination of vibrant floral decoration, luxurious gilding and refined English craftsmanship creates a tea service of outstanding elegance that has become synonymous with traditional British afternoon tea.

Condition:
The set is in good vintage condition. Two cups have light coffee staining inside. One cup has a few tiny factory firing dots inside, and occasional small firing specks may be present on the glaze, which are characteristic of vintage Royal Albert production. There is light age-related wear to the gilt and minor signs of previous use consistent with age. No major chips, cracks or repairs were observed. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
