An elegant and highly collectible Royal Albert Old Country Roses dessert serving set comprising 10 pieces, beautifully crafted in fine English bone china and proudly Made in England. First introduced in 1962, Old Country Roses has become Royal Albert’s most iconic and internationally recognised pattern, admired for its timeless English charm, luxurious gilding and exceptional craftsmanship.
This delightful vintage set includes:
* 6 Sweet Bowls – Height: 3.5 cm, Diameter: 13.5 cm
* 4 Plates – Diameter: 12 cm
Each piece is richly decorated with the celebrated Old Country Roses pattern, featuring vibrant clusters of deep crimson, pink and golden-yellow roses framed by brilliant white fine bone china and finished with elegant 22-carat gold gilded rims. The softly fluted forms and richly gilded edges create a refined appearance that has made this pattern a favourite among collectors for more than six decades.
Perfect for serving desserts, fruit, ice cream or afternoon treats, this versatile set is equally suited for elegant table settings or display in a fine collection. Its timeless design captures the beauty and tradition of classic English porcelain.
Condition:
Presented in very good vintage condition. Tiny black factory firing specks may be visible on the bowls and are characteristic of the original manufacturing process. One side plate has a small surface mark near the border, visible on close inspection. Light age-related wear to the gilding may be present, consistent with careful use over time. No chips, cracks or repairs were observed. Please refer to the photographs, which form an integral part of the description.
