Hand-engraved Italian 800 Silver Cigarette Case – ca. 1928–1935
Elegant Italian cigarette case crafted in solid 800 silver, entirely hand-engraved with an exquisite floral and foliate scroll decoration of exceptional quality. The refined chasing and engraving reflect the craftsmanship of an experienced Italian silversmith from the late 1920s to the early 1930s.
The case is fully hallmarked “800” and bears an additional maker’s mark, present but no longer clearly legible. The interior is clean and well preserved, with its original cigarette retaining bar still intact.
A refined collector’s piece, representative of high-quality Italian silverwork from the interwar period.
