High-gloss top hat dating from around 1900

The classic high-gloss top hat is covered with long-pile velvet, whose flat hairs catch the light and shine (Felbel). The sides of the hat are curved inward.
Manufactured and produced by Hutfabrik Gebrüder Merck in Offenbach am Main around 1900

Condition: Generally well preserved with signs of wear. High-gloss top hat without damage. Hat case with barely visible damage to the lid (see photo).

Hut Glanzzylinder um 1900

 Klassischer Glanzzylinder ist mit langflorigem Samt bezogen, dessen flach liegende Härchen durch Lichtreflexe glänzen (Felbel). Die Seiten des Zylinders sind nach innen gewölbt.
Gefertigt und hergestellt von der Hutfabrik Gebrüder Merck in Offenbach a/M. um 1900

Zustand: Allgemein gut erhalten mit Gebrauchsspuren. Glanzzylinder ohne Beschädigung. Hutschachtel mit kaum sichtbarer Beschädigung am Deckel (siehe Bild ).
