For sale is an absolute rarity for collectors of vintage posters, railway memorabilia, and Art Deco art. This is the complete set of 5 large-format original posters, designed by the famous French artist Pierre Fix-Masseau between 1979 and 1981 to revive the luxurious Orient-Express.

Collector’s note: Since the motifs were designed by the artist over an extended period, the copyright years on the individual posters vary (e.g., 1979, 1981), which perfectly documents the historical authenticity of this series.

* Edition: Guaranteed original FIRST EDITION from the era (no modern digital print, no later reprint!).
* Printing: Each poster was printed in France by the renowned Imprimerie Bauge, 37160 Descartes. The original mark, the “First Edition” inscription, and the respective copyright year are clearly visible at the bottom edge of the posters.
* Size (with frame): approx. 120 cm x 85 cm (large format)
* Condition: Very good, age-appropriate condition (different conditions / multiple items). Colors are extremely vivid, vibrant, and well preserved. No significant light damage. The noble solid-wood frames are fully intact with only minimal signs of wear.
