Description from the seller
Chess Richard Lionheart
Historical chess in a luxury edition, themed around Richard I of England, Richard the Lionheart, the Knights Templar and the Crusades, in the Holy Land, against Saladin and the Arab troops.
The pieces are a spectacular medieval historical bronze set in gold and silver colors, with the shields of the pawns enameled, with great detail in their workmanship. Special mention deserves the Arab horses, they are spectacular. In fact all the pieces are precious. Judge for yourself.
With measurements for Richard I and Saladin of 8.5 cm and the rest of the figures around 6.5 cm. They have a lot of weight.
The board-container where the pieces are kept is made of wood beautifully decorated along its margins with scenes of weapons and medieval landscapes. With fairly large dimensions, a height of 6 cm and a width of 46 cm.
A true opportunity to own a wonderful chess set that recalls the history of the Crusades, discontinued for more than 40 years.
The condition of the set is almost perfect, almost new, as you can see. Only a small scratch on one corner of the container, practically imperceptible.
It will be shipped in appropriate packaging to protect it during transport. With tracking number
