DETAILS: This is a sturdy vintage globe, made of tin and produced by Chad Valley. It measures 7.5 inches wide and 11.5 inches tall. It sits on a triangular, brown-painted tin base and is supported by a gold-colored axle.

TRASHTIQUE TALK: The royal warrant for Chad Valley was granted in 1938 and officially titled 'Toymakers to H.M. The Queen'. When Princess Elizabeth ascended the throne in 1952, the warrant was changed to 'Toymakers to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II the Queen Mother'.

CONDITION: in good condition with light signs of wear. (1 dent)
