The design of this extraordinary writing instrument instantly catches the eye thanks to exquisite craftsmanship. The heavy body and cap are not made of simple resin, but of solid metal finely engraved with an elegant guilloché motif. This material base is enhanced by a translucent lacquer in a vibrant and deep electric blue ("Cool Blue"), which creates wonderful plays of light and shifting reflections depending on the angle.

To accentuate the brilliance of the blue lacquer are finishes that are entirely platinum-plated and mirror-polished, present on the distinctive aerodynamic clip, on the hefty institutional rings, and on the smooth metal grip. Removing the screw-cap reveals the technical heart of this magnificent fountain pen: a superb nib in solid 14-carat gold (Au585).
