Magnificent brooch representing a parrot, vintage and rare, created by the famous French designer Léa Stein in Bakelite. Brooch signed “LEA STEIN PARIS”. It is in very good condition despite the years (period 1968–1980). This series was already very expensive in the years 1968–1980 (the information about this brooch appears in the book Léa Stein Jewelry by Judith Just).

All Léa Stein items are still largely handmade. No two are identical. The brooches are affixed using a thermal process, which may sometimes leave unusual marks or scratches on the back or around the fixing area. This is perfectly normal and not a defect.

This brooch is a true collectible piece, emblematic of the refined style of the late 1960s.
