Wall plaque, 'Dinanderie', hand-forged yellow brass.
Large hammered yellow-brass wall plaque, unique (thus not form-stamped and no electrotype copy!!), Baroque style with 6 female heads in medallions around a large central female portrait; floral and scrolling ornamentation. Signed "PDP".
Probably 1650-1750 or later imitation.
Dinanderie - Meuse region.
Diameter 68.5 cm.
Compare with the specimen in the Musée des Arts anciens du Namurois, the museum of old art in Namur, inv. no. SAN inv. no 202; 17th century, diameter 79.6 cm.
And a similar dish in the Kapel Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Virga Jesse [Hasselt, B.], 17th century, diameter 60 cm.

Wandbord, ‘Dinanderie’, handgedreven geelkoper messing.
Groot gedreven geelkoperen wandbord, unicum (dus niet vorm-gestempeld en geen galvano-kopie!!), barokstijl met 6 vrouwenhoofden in medaillons rond een groot centrale vrouwsportret; bloem- en rank-ornamenten. Gesigneerd "PDP". 
Vermoedelijk 1650-1750 of latere navolging. 
Dinanderie - Maasgebied. 
Diameter 68,5 cm.
Vergelijk het exemplaar in het Musée des Arts anciens du Namurois, het museum voor oude kunst in Namen, inv.nr. SAN inv.no 202; 17de eeuw, diameter 79,6 cm.
