Belgian hand-hammered brass wall plate named 'Dinanderie' in Baroque style, dating to circa 1650–1750 or later, with a central portrait surrounded by six medallion heads and signed 'PDP', dimensions Ø68.5 cm, depth 6 cm, in good used condition.

Large hammered yellow-brass wall plaque, unique (thus not form-stamped and no electrotype copy!!), Baroque style with 6 female heads in medallions around a large central female portrait; floral and scrolling ornamentation. Signed "PDP".
Probably 1650-1750 or later imitation.
Dinanderie - Meuse region.
Diameter 68.5 cm.
Compare with the specimen in the Musée des Arts anciens du Namurois, the museum of old art in Namur, inv. no. SAN inv. no 202; 17th century, diameter 79.6 cm.
And a similar dish in the Kapel Onze-Lieve-Vrouw Virga Jesse [Hasselt, B.], 17th century, diameter 60 cm.
