Description from the seller

A highly decorative cast brass (or bronze) bell modeled after traditional Flemish monastery bells. The bell features a beautifully textured background with raised relief motifs, including scrollwork, fleur-de-lis, and classical figures. A prominent band around the center bears the famous Latin inscription: "QVI ME TANGIT VOCEM MEAM AVDIT" ("Whoever touches me hears my voice").

This reproduction piece perfectly captures the heavy, rustic aesthetic of 17th-century European metalwork. The top loop retains its mounting screw, indicating this piece was originally suspended from a swinging wrought iron or brass wall bracket, making it an excellent restoration project or a standalone decorative antiquity.

Condition Report
The bell is in good vintage condition with a rich, authentic patina. The brass shows natural darkening and oxidation inside the dome. The original internal cast iron clapper is intact and exhibits surface rust consistent with age and use, adding to its rustic charm. Please note that the original wall-mounting bracket is not included. Review all photos carefully, as they are an integral part of the description.
