Montblanc - Meisterstück LeGrand (Platinum Line) - Pen

In this presentation we introduce the writing instrument of the most generously proportioned and authoritative build from the Hamburg manufactory, rendered in a modern aesthetic with a chilling allure: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Ballpoint Pen (Model 161) with Platinum finish (Platinum Line).

Compared to the standard Classique model, the LeGrand asserts itself with a barrel diameter and weight decidedly higher. This larger “stature” offers a sense of extraordinary solidity, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable grip and an unmatched on-the-page presence in the breast pocket of a jacket. The cigar-shaped body is forged in glossy black precious resin, enhanced by the brilliantly bright platinum-plated finishes on the three hefty rings, on the clip, and on the imposing tip. On the cap it bears the unmistakable emblem of the white star.

The mechanical operation relies on the classic, smooth twist mechanism. The excellent photographs of the pen disassembled reveal the robust brass internal threading, a construction detail specific to the LeGrand line that certifies its absolute quality and originality. Inside is the original Montblanc refill.

The overall condition is assessable as excellent in both structural and aesthetic terms. The black resin maintains a mirror-like polish and is free of chips or cracks; only the physiological and almost imperceptible micro-scratches (hairlines) scattered along the body are noticeable. The platinum plating is bright and intact. In the interests of usual and rigorous transparency, it is essential to note the presence of a professionally personalized engraving on the side of the cap bearing the initials "G G" in an elegant gold cursive font (clearly visible in the provided photographs). On the clip ring the serial code is regularly engraved.
