Vallauris is a town in southern France with a long ceramic tradition, dating back to Roman times. Characteristic are the often colorful glaze drips, which are also seen on these objects.

The vase has a slender neck
and a thick 'belly' in four vague segments,
with a beautiful mix of all glaze colors.
Bottom stamped in blind mark: FPP, Vallauris France N 28.
Height is 22.5 cm, belly diameter 14 cm.

The decanter shaped like a fish is not marked,
but certainly originating from Vallauris and identical
to the ones that are marked.
Magnificent drizzle glaze colors on the fish body.
