Ad Snijders (1929–2010) was an Eindhoven-based artist, draftsman, collagist and sculptor. He began drawing at the age of twelve, and he basically never stopped since. His style can best be described as expressionist, figurative art.
Both Snijders' themes and his way of working aligned with events in the time periods in which he worked. In that sense, his work was always current.
Ad Snijders' work has been exhibited since 1957 in leading galleries and museums in both domestic and international contexts. For example, his work has been seen at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and several times at the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven.

Dimensions without frame: 147 x 123 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary year. We take great care in packaging every artwork. Packing is bespoke: every painting, work on paper or object is assessed and packed separately according to the most suitable and safe method. We take into account size, technique, condition and vulnerability of the work.
Where necessary we use extra protective materials, robust bespoke packaging and professional transport solutions, so that your purchase arrives safely and in optimal condition.
