Old chessboard with Regency chess pieces ca. 1930

Very nice and complete chess set from the 1930s. It is a solid wood board with a border. This board is somewhat newer, dating to around 1950. The pieces are Regency-style and are supplied in the original wooden box from 1930. A beautiful set for lovers of classic gaming equipment.

Condition:
Everything is in very good condition, both the board and the pieces given their age. I have restored the black bishop. The top has been replaced by another Regency bishop. It is glued with a pin connecting the two parts. This will therefore not come loose again.

Origin:
France, presumably around 1930.

King: 8.3 cm tall
Square size: 4.5 cm
Board size: 36 x 36 cm
