Le Major bundles illustrations that Moebius drew between 1997 and 2009 of his character Majoor Fataal from De Hermetische Garage and other strips. Sometimes they are loosely sketched on paper, other times they are meticulously refined illustrations. Other artists contributed guest appearances, such as Lorenzo Mattotti, François Avril, André Juillard, William Vance, Sylvio Cadelo, and even Moebius’s own family: his wife Isabelle and children Raphaël and Nausicaä.

Publisher Moebius Production 2011, small format (about 320 pages) with dimensions 11 x 3.5 x 16 cm. Linen-covered, illustrated covers. Foreword by Pierre Baux. Beautiful black-and-white illustrations and Moebius’s scripts. Luxury edition printed on 90-gram Munken Pure paper, in a limited run of only 1000 copies. Completely sold-out collector’s edition, printed in March 2011.
