Description from the seller
A0000004211
The fountain pen is presented in very good overall condition, highlighting especially for its attractive fully gold-plated finish with a striated pattern, which preserves an intense and uniform shine, enhancing its elegant and classic character.
The body shows light signs of use typical of the passage of time, visible only under close inspection, in the form of micro surface marks. No significant dents or deformations are observed, maintaining excellent structural integrity.
The cap, with integrated clip, is well adjusted and functional, preserving its correct alignment. The engravings and decorative details remain sharp and well defined.
The black resin section presents a good condition, with slight signs of use appropriate to its age, without cracks or structural damages.
The 14K gold nib (585) is in very good condition, with correct alignment and no appreciable deformations. The piston-filler system has been inspected and works correctly, ensuring smooth and safe operation.
Overall, it is a well-preserved specimen, completely functional and ready for use or collection, with a very striking aesthetic presence.
Conservation recommendations
It is recommended to use high-quality inks specific to fountain pens, avoiding pigmented inks. In case of prolonged non-use, clean with warm water, dry carefully before storing and keep in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Operate the filling system gently to preserve its internal mechanics.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper conservation. Happy bidding!
