Exceptional exemplar in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, with an outstanding presence that enhances the elegant character of this Parker Premier Black Lacquer GT.
The glossy black lacquer presents a deep, uniform finish, maintaining high gloss and a crisp reflection. No lacquer loss or structural dents are evident. It may show minuscule superficial signals typical of very light handling, barely perceptible to the naked eye and only visible under thorough inspection with direct light.
The gold-plated finishes (GT) — arrow clip, rings, and central ring engraved “PARKER” — maintain an intense, homogeneous gold tone, with no visible wear or discoloration. The engraving “FRANCE” appears clean and well defined.
The solid 18K gold nib (750) is in excellent condition, with the tines perfectly aligned and undistorted. It retains its sharp engraving and original finish. Smooth, steady writing without skips, delivering the performance expected from the Premier range.
The Parker cartridge/converter filling system works correctly.
Overall, this is a very well preserved piece, ready for immediate use or to join a demanding collection, maintaining the elegance and solidity typical of the Parker Premier line.
