Classical wooden étagère with matching pipe stand – 20th century
Object description
Atmospheric two-part lot consisting of a classical wooden étagère and a matching wooden pipe stand, executed in a traditional style.
The étagère is equipped with two tiers and four decoratively turned (barley twist) support legs, resting on globe-shaped feet. Thanks to the open construction, the piece is suitable as a coffee table, plant stand or bookshelf and forms a decorative addition to both a classic and country-style interior.
The accompanying wooden pipe stand is finished in a dark-stained finish and features multiple openings for placing tobacco pipes. At the front there is a recess for a loose tobacco pot. This pot is missing.
