Original vintage advertising card dedicated to Cow-Boy cigarettes, an Italian brand inspired by American western imagery, dating from the late 1940s / early 1950s.
The illustration, signed Barniz, depicts an elegant female figure in Western attire while lighting a cigarette. Completing the composition is the famous slogan:
“In offering a cigarette, an invitation to friendship”
and the wording:
“Cigarette with American flavor, light and fragrant.”
The graphic perfectly captures the postwar Italian advertising style, inspired by the American world and characterized by vibrant colors, high-quality illustration, and strong visual impact.
