Paris-made pendulum clock in black marble with patinated bronze by Japy Frère, mechanical movement with multi-day power reserve, estimated 1850–1900, 23 × 39 × 18 cm, 15 kg, winding key included, demi-heure strike with one gong, in excellent condition and in working order.

Magnificent and impressive Paris clock. Black marble, patinated bronze lion-paw feet. Dial with Roman numerals signed Vermorel. Japy Frères clockmaking, Grand Medal of Honour, circa 1880, Paris, France. Number 1763. Very good overall condition; see photos for more description. Note a small chip on one corner, very little visible. Dimensions: Height 23 cm, Length 39 cm, Width 18 cm. Weight: 15 kilograms. In working order and the striking is OK, however a revision will be necessary for optimal use. Sold with its original pendulum, number 1763. Winding key present. The package will be very securely packed (the pendulum will be removed) and shipped via La Poste Colissimo. Happy bidding for this exceptional item.
