Description from the seller

Shuttle-shaped centerpiece with an oval base, made in polychrome majolica art with the third firing technique in gold and ruby lustre. Historic workshop of the Rubboli family (Gualdo Tadino, Umbria). The piece is entirely hand-painted and hand-sculpted. Enriched with two handles depicting the mythological winged griffins. Although pristine and defect-free, it bears a small imperceptible manufacturing flaw that nevertheless certifies its handmade production (see detail photo).
