A lot of 21 silver-plated souvenir spoons dating from around 1950–1980, produced by various European makers, with decorative handles.

Set of 21 silvered metal collectible spoons – Europe – 20th century – Various manufacturers (GERO, etc.)
Wonderful set of 21 antique collectible spoons, comprising twenty richly decorated souvenir spoons and an old ladle. The pieces come from different European manufacturers and testify to the tradition of tourist spoons that were very popular during the 20th century.
The handles feature a wide variety of finely molded designs depicting windmills, doves, castles, towers, figures, municipal crests, monuments, crowns, coats of arms and landscapes, reflecting different towns and regions of Europe, notably the Netherlands, France and other European countries.
The lot also includes two porcelain-painted spoons with rose motifs, and an accompanying antique ladle.
Manufacturers and hallmarks
Several European manufacturers:
GERO (Netherlands), a famous house founded in 1912, renowned for the quality of its silvered metal.
Hallmarks 90, 100 and 120, corresponding to different levels of silver plating, indicating fine craftsmanship.
EP mark (Electro Plated) confirming electroplated silver.
Several marks from manufacturers; this is quality silvered metal.
Era
Circa 1950-1980, with some models possibly slightly earlier (1930s-1940s).
Condition
Very good overall condition.
Presence of slight signs of use, micro-scratches and normal patina related to age. The decorations are well preserved and the silvering remains uniform.
