Ormolu box, a square bevelled-glass jewellery casket with a gilt-brass frame, 7 cm square and 6 cm high, made in France and dating to about 1910–1920, in good condition with small signs of ageing.

A Belle Époque souvenir square ormolu and bevelled‑glass jewellery casket on decorative feet with a sepia landmark view beneath the thick bevelled lid: Marseille
The gilt‑brass frame shows fine lace‑work cresting and mitred bevelled side panes.
Inside, the original cushion remains plush. Beautifully displayable and ready for a ring or keepsake.

Condition
Good antique condition with honest patina.
Small edge chip to the rear side panel (see close‑up); light rubbing to gilt and minor surface scuffs to glass from age.
Cushion is plush with slight, even fading. Image under the bevelled lid remains crisp; hinge and clasp sound.
