Necklace Platinum - Diamond - Sapphire, Art Deco 1920

Circa 1920, a platinum pendant on necklace, poised between Belle Époque lightness and early Art Deco geometry. The openwork drop is centred by a pear shaped rose cut diamond, framed by further rose cut diamonds and senailles, with sapphire accents drawing the eye to the scroll like base. Topped with a natural pearl, it sits neatly at the collarbone, a small but assured jewel with the feel of something kept and quietly enjoyed. Jewellery Type pendant on necklace Condition very good condition Country of origin unknown Style Something between Art Deco and Belle Époque.
