A liquor decanter from the height of the Art Deco period, crafted by the world-renowned workshop of Karel Palda (Haida / Nový Bor), dating from around 1930. The decanter features a solid body of clear crystal with sharp geometric shapes and a brilliant ruby-red glaze, into which a detailed motif depicting a forest landscape with a deer has been carefully hand-engraved; on the back and on the solid stopper (12 cm long) are plants and birds in flight. The glass and glaze are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. Only the glaze on the stopper is slightly scratched.
