Chess set - Recency set 1930's Café de Paris - Wood

Very nice and complete chess set from the 1930s. It is a solid wood board with a border. This board is somewhat younger, from around 1950. The chess pieces are Regency-style and are supplied in the original wooden box from 1930. A gorgeous set for lovers of classic playing materials.

Condition:
Everything is in very good condition, both the board and the pieces given their age. The chess pieces are also lightly varnished, which gives a nice appearance. The board and the pieces match very nicely in color.

France, presumably around 1930.
