Beautiful octagonal chess table made from several types of wood. It is a jewel of marquetry of English origin. The table features two drawers to store the chess pieces. The palette of colors from the different lacqured woods creates a charming visual effect, of great elegance.
The chess pieces are wonderful, possibly from the first half of the 20th century. Also in wood. Staunton type No. 4.
