Description from the seller

Liturgical chalice in metal with a gilded cup and rich relief decoration. The cup, smooth on the inside, features a gilded finish, while the lower part is embellished with an elaborate ornamental frieze with vegetal motifs and grape clusters, traditional symbols of the Eucharist. The central knob, shaped and finely worked, facilitates grip during liturgical use and introduces a gracefully profiled stem. The circular base is decorated with alternating cherub heads, floral motifs, and raised stars, iconographic elements that evoke the celestial dimension and the sacred meaning of the object. The assembly highlights workmanship achieved through casting and chasing, with particular attention to the plastic rendering of the decorations. In style and execution, the chalice can be traced to the production of sacred furnishings of the 20th century, intended for the celebration of the Holy Mass. The balance between liturgical functionality and ornamental richness gives the work considerable historical, artistic, and devotional value.
