An exceptional and rare French depository safe. Designed with a coin deposit slot on the top, this elegant safe was intended for the secure storage of money while preventing easy access to its contents.

Beautifully preserved in its original condition, the safe retains its attractive aged patina, original red-painted interior with shelf, and authentic late 19th-century character.

The safe is supplied with its original key, while both the key lock and the original double combination lock are fully functional and operate smoothly. The original cast inscription on the front remains partially visible, adding to its authentic appearance.
