Authorized color offset, produced in gloss with high color intensity.
Condition: the work is in good condition, slight crease (see photos) and is around 1991 issued.

This artwork is an image of "Diana as huntress" by Alberto Vargas, who is known for his iconic 'pin-up' illustrations.
The goddess Diana depicted as huntress, accompanied by two large dogs.
“Vargas Girl” style is characterized by detailed depiction of the human body and soft lighting.
The work was originally created around 1929 as a watercolor on board.
The dancer Caja Eric (known from the Ziegfeld Follies) was the model for this. This is one of Vargas' largest original artworks.
Publication in Esquire (March 1941). To meet a tight deadline, Vargas reused this image for Esquire magazine in 1941. Because a fully nude portrait was not allowed in the magazine at the time, an acrylic overlay was temporarily painted over it to give her a green outfit.
