Elegant vintage pocket cigarette case, in full Art Deco style (circa 1920s/1930s), of French manufacture.

The object stands out for the timeless geometric elegance typical of the interwar period.
The exterior surface features a splendid, dense guilloché pattern with parallel horizontal lines, creating a beautiful play of reflections.
At the center rises a rectangular cartouche decorated with black/dark enamel inserts, which frames the name "Pierre" finely engraved in a flowing cursive script.
The interior is entirely adorned with a glossy, vivid gold finish (gold wash), originally conceived to protect the tobacco from metal oxidation.
It is complete with its original cigarette-spring closure, beautifully perforated with coordinated geometric motifs.
In the absence of specific hallmarks of solid silver, the piece should be regarded as excellent high-quality antique silver plating (silver-plated / silvery metal).
